Our History

Hi, I’m Marcelino Nunez Jr, the current owner of Charles Kitchen & Cantina. We’re a family-owned restaurant established in 2008. My parents Marcelino Nunez and Margarita Nunez initiated a restaurant in Mexico and with all of their hard work put in, providing hygienic and taste-bud stimulating cuisine to local customers.

But as fate would have it, we moved to the US and started from zero again. Starting from a small taqueria, we built our dream again and laid down the foundation for our current restaurant, Charles Kitchen & Cantina. With our traditional commitment to outstanding customer service, quality of food, and the highest kitchen standards, we’ve been able to maintain the restaurant with lots of regular clientele.


My parents brought their exotic recipes from their restaurant back in Mexico to offer the tastiest and most traditional Mexican food possible, and today, we’re happily serving countless loyal customers with the most tantalizing Mexican food that money can buy.
